This platform is unlike all others. It has been designed with more than just the player in mind. Of course our top priority is the pitcher, but we were faced with challenges from coaches, trainers and even ground crews. So what did Pitch Pro come up with? The 516 Platform.
- Designed in part by Coaches and Grounds Crew experts with the player and coach in mind
- Extra wide (54") to allow full pitching motion without worrying about swing leg landing on edge
- Plenty of room behind rubber for any pitching motion, either out of wind-up or stretch
- Large turf tires allow for easy moving indoors or on grass/turf and prevent rutting on fields
- Venting on all for sides to allow airflow - helps prevent grass from wilting

Good product -- damaged in transit
As a bullpen mound, I'd give the product a 5 -- it's full-size and solidly built. However, when I ordered it from Game Time Athletics, it was drop-shipped by the manufacturer and arrived with significant damage to the fiberglass shell (exposing lose fiber underneath), which I had to repair with duct tape. Game Time Athletics responded to an email I sent them about the issue with a request for more information -- but has ignored my follow-up emails. For a product that costs more than $1000, I'd expect better customer service.
